Our Story

In 2024, a group of us connected through the ATX Covid Long Haulers Facebook group. When seeking social, emotional, and medical support, we soon realized that there were few existing systems in place to serve our growing Long COVID community.

So, we founded one.

Inspired by our shared journeys, we created the Long Covid Collective to foster community, share resources, and offer pathways of support for those navigating life with chronic illness.

“We can’t cure Long COVID, but we can ease the burden by providing a place where people feel less alone, and where they can find real connections with others who get it.”

- LCC Co-Founder Cindy Kohler

"The LCC has been essential to restore my health during a grueling three-year journey that disrupted my career, my sense of security, and even at times my will to live. “Through the LCC, I now have truly understanding and empathetic friends, a place to give and receive support, and access to many long-haulers who are eager to share what they’ve learned from their experiences, and most importantly to offer encouragement and hope.” - Lisa N.
